The Green Factor’s E-Waste Recycling service works by identifying devices that have reached the end of its life span. This service may also be provided(albeit not recommended for devices which are still working) to companies or individuals who have extremely sensitive data on their devices and insists on the entire device being recycled in fear of a breach of data.
After collection, we’ll sort the e-waste based on its category. They are then further segmented by their recyclable/reusable components. Through this process, all potential hazardous materials will be identified and removed. They will be kept separately and disposed of responsibly through the right channels. After the materials have all been sorted, categorised and segmented, it will then be passed on to our downstream recyclers(include hyper link).

Sorting and categorising of devices
Upon receiving the devices at our sorting facility, we'll sort and categorise your items. This crucial process ensures that each device will be passed on to the appropriate downstream recycler in an efficient manner hence reducing waste.
Data Sanitisation
To prevent your sensitive information from being acquired by other people or entities, we provide up to 3 different types(hyperlink to “tgf.sg/services/data sanitisation”) of sanitisation solutions that ensure that your data will be completely removed from the memory storage devices.
Device Dismantle(de-manufacture)
In the process of dismantling the devices, our trained technicians will again segregate and categorise the broken down components to make sure each material will be sent to the appropriate recycling stream. Hazardous materials will be further identified through this process and ensured that they are disposed of responsibly.
Downstream Recyclers/downcycling
The downstream recyclers that we work with have passed our stringent selection criteria. We ensure that they are transparent with their processes and share the same objectives and goals to recycle in a sustainable, responsible and pragmatic manner. This helps to ensure that the categorised components and materials are recycled ethically and not just dumped elsewhere to save cost.
